This website and the Magic Touch® online store are operated by Magic Touch USA LLC, 18 Bridge Street, Unit 2A, Brooklyn, NY 11201-1107, United States ("Magic Touch", "we", "us"). Magic Touch USA LLC is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact and shipping information you provide at checkout or through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional) and postal address.
  • Order data: what you bought, order amount and order history. Payments are processed by Shopify; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Course data: your student account, lesson progress and certificate status in our online course portal.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the website, checkout or course portal.
  • Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To process your order, give you access to the video course and ship your Magic Touch® kit.
  • To send order, shipping and course-access emails.
  • To protect our course content from unauthorized sharing (for example, a personal watermark on lesson videos).
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To send news and offers, only if you opted in (for example, the "Email me with news and offers" box at checkout). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (orders and course access), legal obligation (tax records), legitimate interests (security, support, preventing content sharing) and consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies).

4. Cookies

This website uses cookies and local storage that are needed for it to work, such as remembering your cookie choice.

If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we also load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.). It sets advertising cookies and tells Meta which pages you visit and when you click "Buy Now", so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people who may be interested. If you click "Decline", the Meta Pixel is not loaded. You can learn more in Meta's privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

Our checkout (Shopify) and course portal (Chapters LMS) set their own cookies that are needed to complete your purchase and keep you signed in.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement on Facebook and Instagram, only if you accept cookies.
  • Shopify Inc. — online store, checkout and payment processing (shopify.com/legal/privacy).
  • Chapters LMS (Pixipace) and its video hosting provider — the online course portal and lesson videos.
  • Shipping carriers — to deliver your Magic Touch® kit.
  • Our website hosting provider.
  • Professional advisors and authorities, when required by law.

6. How Long We Keep Data

  • Order and invoice records: as long as required by US tax and accounting rules (generally up to 7 years).
  • Your course account: for as long as you have access to the course, which is lifetime access.
  • Support messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law.
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Magic Touch USA LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer data from the EU or UK, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards.

Our products are intended for hair professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
